Description
For several clients we are looking for a Towage Chief Engineer.
Our clients are specialized in towing and have a modern fleet of tugs. They have clients in various international ports.
We are supplying personnel for:
Kotug;
Muller;
Multratug;
Smit.
Your responsibilities as a chief engineer will be:
Maintenance and repair of the installations;
Operation of the winch on deck while you drag and assist in the purchase and moor;
Supervise the correct and efficient use of technical supplies, spare parts, fuel and lubricants on board;
Responsible for the installation and technical resources needed for life and work aboard;
Monitor the performance of work where necessary;
Assistance with safety drills, so with the crew are able to respond appropriately in emergency situations;
Responsible for the associated administration and reporting to the technical department.
Requirements
The requirements for the ideal candidate for the position of towage chief engineer are:
Certificate of Competency as Chief Engineer> 3000 kW;
Proven experience in the position of chief engineer with similar activities;
Valid seaman's book and medical certificate;
Dutch and English communication skills both spoken and written.
