Job requirements:
A nautical college degree (MBO or HBO);
In possession of a valid dynamic positioning (DP) operator certificate;
Minimum of 4 years experience as a Mate on seagoing vessels;
Solid knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
Job tasks:
Control the DP operations (such as pipelay, trenching and related construction activities);
Perform traditional nautical duties (such as controlling the ballast and load-out condition of the vessel; keeping and maintaining an independent watch in port and at sea; operating the vessel's lifesaving appliances according to recognised international standards);
Function as a Helicopter Landing Officer or assist other disciplines in performing their work in a safe and effective manner, when required.
