My client, a large International Energy Service Company is now actively seeking a Project Engineer (Contract or staff) for its Aberdeen HQ.
Project: FPSO
Duration: 12-18 Months
Experience Required:
•Successful track record of managing/ engineering projects through the entire project lifecycle •Safety management knowledge and application •Knowledge of upstream oil and gas business •Competence to contribute to Planning, Cost Estimating, Risk Management, Performance Management, Quality and Delivery Assurance and stakeholder management. •Ideally have experience of the CVP (or alternative stage gate decision process) and underlying project methodologies •Ideally have some experience of decommissioning •Inherent the WGPSN project deliverables to date of the Making Safe Philosophy. Waste Management Plan, LSA/ NORM and Radiation Assessments, thereafter to manage the updates as the project evolves. •Undertake systems review of the FPSO and develop systems engineering down strategy that aligns with project requirements. •Have a bias towards offshore construction, ideally with a structural or marine background •Used to working in a engineering study environment and able to produce high quality reports •Undertake engineering modifications projects as and when required •Require to liaise with marine/engineering contractor and other specialist companies •Have the technical ability to comment (if required) on subcontractor technical reports •Carry out audits/ surveys as appropriate •Ideally able to produce own study quality sketches/graphics
Education & Qualifications: •Educated to degree level or equivalent preferred but not essential
