Prime International are URGENTLY seeking the services of an Offshore Electrical Section Leader, who MUST have Drilling and workover knowledge. Very long term position on a NEW SEMI: 2 weeks on 4 weeks off. Mandatory requiremnts are: • High voltage • Low voltage • EX Basic • EX maintenance • EXI Basic • FSE • AMOS-W • Basic safety course • Medical certificate (according to STCW 95) • Computer Applications. • Familiar with all hydraulic operated equipment and drilling mechanical related equipment. • Basic knowledge about Drilling and Workover Operations. • Ability to organize the maintenance of equipment and to supervise the testing and checking of equipment and systems. • Familiar with maintenance recording system (AMOS). • Be familiar with all relevant work and safety procedures. • Leadership and ability for plan work for crew. • 10 years (Minimum) in Off-shore Drilling/Marine units as Electrician N/A • Ensure that all personnel under his supervision possess the necessary qualification and experience to properly carry out the work assigned from a professional as well as a safety point of view. • Ensure that all electrical equipment is operated properly at all times. • Ensure that all maintenance and repairs, both planned and unplanned are properly organized and executed in a professional manner and to a high standard, in accordance with rules and regulations. • Ensure he is familiar with the drilling unit, the hull and the structure, including all the relevant systems onboard. • Responsible for the general safety training of personnel within his area of responsibility • Promote on-the-job training. • Repair of drilling equipment at the request of the Drilling Section Leader. • Ensure that all emergency systems are at least tested and, if possible, operated once every week. • Ensure that the Maintenance Section at all times has the necessary supplies and spare parts for the operation and maintenance of all electrically related equipment onboard. • Ensure that all maintenance records are properly prepared, filed and kept. • Maintain the fling system onboard for certificates, drawings and manuals. • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout his area of responsibility. • Ensure that all established reporting procedure and routines are followed and all paper work are handled timely and correctly. • Participate in safety meetings and safety drills held onboard. • Ensure that all accidents, near-miss accidents and Non-Conformances within his area of responsibility are reported in accordance with the established procedures and corrective actions are taken.
