Fairmount Marine requires Officers of all ranks for the safe management and operations of these world-wide operating vessels. As part of the Ship’s Management Team the officers are responsible for the day-to-day running of the vessel in all respects, including ship safety, security, manoeuvring, maintenance and reporting routines. Tasks are being delegated for each rank and Officers are responsible for the execution of their allocated duties, as well as sharing a common responsibility for the safety and good performance of the vessel. Other responsibilities of Officers are compliance with the Fairmount’s Ship Management System and local, Flag State and International Regulations and Conventions.
The Scope of work includes: Assist in the planning and execution of voyages and projects. Maintaining the vessel together with the other crew on board. Running the vessel in compliance with the Ship Management System. Ensure Safety and Security of the vessel and its crew. Adherence to laws and regulations. Take steps to reduce the impact of the vessel on its environment.
Suitable candidates are expected to have the following qualifications: Licenced Officer, including all STCW required certificates for the applicable discipline. Several years of experience on Offshore support vessels as Officer. Safety conscious and familiar with quality management systems, including ISM. Good communication skills with all parties. Good knowledge of on-board accounting, administration and documentation. Team player, prepared and able to bear responsibility. Good written and spoken English
