currently has an immediate requirement for a Marine Supervisor/Control Room Operator to work on their Hull in China on a 4on/2 off Rota. The hull is currently built and floating at Cosco Shipyard in Qidong, China and will remain alongside for the next few months whilst being commissioned. Main responsibilities for the positions are to facilitate commissioning activities and assist in driving Project Goals under direction of Project Management Personnel. - Facilitation of resources to ensure systems and equipment functions effectively (power, water, air and other temporary services) in support of commissioning activities
- Project Support & Quality Assurance
Work with BWI site teams to - Assist in the verification of valve positions, orientation and access during installation of same
- Gain knowledge and become familiar with location of equipment & piping.
- Confirm and verify as-built piping, valves, instruments & electrical to P&ID drawings
- Confirm compliance of proper flange management, flushing and testing of process equipment & piping during Mechanical Completion of same
- Assist in the verification of valve & instrument tagging during installation of same
- Assist in the preservation & maintenance of installed equipment and valves
- Assist/Support existing commissioning team in the commissioning of Hull.
- Commence developing Hull Operating Procedures.
We would require any candidates to have the appropriate level of Marine Certification (Deck Class 1 or 2 and/or Marine Eng Class 1 or 2) with experience of Semi Submersible Operations and Stability.
