Supervision, planning and co-ordination of the daily activities of the stewards; Ensuring that the laundry is run in a proper and efficient manner; Maintaining inventory of cleaning-, bonded-, equipment- and spares stock; Maintaining inventory of laundry soap stores; Maintaining the running and accounting of the bonded store in a proper manner; Assisting with storing provisions whenever required; Assisting in the ships office with crew changes and light administrative duties as directed by the Catering Manager; Notifying the Catering manager of any condition in the accommodation which might affect the standard of service, sanitary standards or hygiene standards; Reporting of any misbehavior and damage to accommodation facilities and equipment to the Catering manager and further tasks as described in the Marine Safety Manual – section 3.
