Crane Operator
Job requirements:
· Must pass offshore crane operator’s certification exam or hold a valid offshore crane operator Stage 3 certificate
· Minimum of 4 years experience as offshore crane operator
· Solid knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
Job tasks:
· Safe operation of cranes.
· Make daily inspection of crane cables and condition.
· Make weekly written report on cranes.
· Liase with barge foreman/deck engineer on crane maintenance and performance.
· Report any malfunction immediately.
· Liase with bridge when making any lift that could affect vessel stability.
· Ensure that all safe work procedures for crane lifts are adhered to maintain crane operator’s log
