Abu Dhabi Salary : Attractive As Second in Command he is responsible to the Master for the safety, security and stability of the MOU and for assisting in navigation and manoeuvring. As Head of the Deck Department he is responsible for all personnel onboard, the offshore units proper operation, maintenance, cleanliness, safety of equipment and spaces under Deck Department jurisdiction and the assignments of crew in tasks relating thereto. Qualifications and Experience: 1) Shall possess extensive knowledge of ISM, ISPS, COLREG, SOLAS, MARPOL, etc. 2) Must have seagoing experience as Chief Mate on offshore units for a minimum of three years 3) Profound marine and offshore background knowledge 4) Must have a very good command of English language both spoken and written 5) Computer literate and software expertise in database management and MS Office Applications i.e. MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook are essential 6) Strong leadership, management, interpersonal skills 7) Ability to delegate, effective communicator, organized, diplomatic and versatile
