Responsibilities:
Responsible for working under the direction of the chief engineer to ensure all electrical and technical areas of the vessel are kept clean and in good operating condition at all times;
Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out in order to reduce repair and maintenance costs and eliminate down time;
Responsible for the care and maintenance of the Vessel DP system and associated equipment;
Responsible for carrying out planned maintenance tasks as per the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and / or as instructed by the Chief Engineer.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability Required:
Strong ability to organize and communicate well with others as well as having strong work ethics, values and principles with safety as the first priority.
Experience & Education:
Fully Qualified, experienced and competent to act as ETO for fully compliant DP vessels;
IT hardware/software/networking experience;
STCW 95 Certification;
HUET/BOSIET;
