Description
For several of our clients we are looking for a Chief Engineer.
Our clients are specialized in dredging and working worldwide.
Your responsibilities as a Chief Engineer will be:
Responsibility for the daily operation, maintenance and repair of the vessel's engine room machinery and other vessel machinery, equipment and systems;
Report to Superintendent or Contract Manager;
Instruct and encourage crew to work safely.
Requirements
The requirements for the ideal candidate for the position of Chief Engineer are:
Valid documents ( CoC, health certificate, seamans's book;
Proven work experience (minimum 2 year) in similar position;
Rounded secondary training in maritime or technical direction;
Good English verbal and written communication skills.
