an immediate requirement for a Barge Superintendent to work on a pipelay vessel in the North Sea. An ongoing position on an 8 on/ 4 off rotation; day rate has yet to be confirmed.

Reporting to the Offshore Operations Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the construction team and be responsible for the safety of the barge. They will also be responsible for tasks such as moving the barge, ballasting, setting up anchoring patterns and arrangements and generally understanding and taking control of such operations.

Applicants are to have extensive experience in a similar role, preferably onboard a pipelay vessel. They will also have full valid offshore certification and be able to provide copies on request.
