Second Mate
Your responsibilities:
Observe the health, safety, quality and environmental system (including local registration and contractual requirements;
See to it that others observe the health, safety, quality and environmental system;
Supervise the use of personal safety equipment by the project staff, subcontractors, etc.;
To carry out duties according to STCW;
To assist the 1st Officer;
To operate the D.P. System;
To follow orders of the Master as a member of the Bridge Team during an emergency;
To know the HSE Management System and the technical documentation which is relevant to his function;
To update the navigation charts and books.
Your profile:
A maritime education of nautical institution;
Certificate of Competency Second Mate All Ships, or Maroff All Ships, with direction navigation (STCW95);
Valid Seaman's Book;
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate;
Valid Passport;
Valid Basic North Sea Training Certificate (preferably);
Offshore experience.
