Second Mate

Your responsibilities:

• Observe the health, safety, quality and environmental system (including local registration and contractual requirements;
• See to it that others observe the health, safety, quality and environmental system;
• Supervise the use of personal safety equipment by the project staff, subcontractors, etc.;
• To carry out duties according to STCW;
• To assist the 1st Officer;
• To operate the D.P. System;
• To follow orders of the Master as a member of the Bridge Team during an emergency;
• To know the HSE Management System and the technical documentation which is relevant to his function;
• To update the navigation charts and books.

Your profile:

• A maritime education of nautical institution;
• Certificate of Competency Second Mate All Ships, or Maroff All Ships, with direction navigation (STCW95);
• Valid Seaman's Book;
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate;
• Valid Passport;
• Valid Basic North Sea Training Certificate (preferably);
• Offshore experience.
