Our Client is looking to source a First Engineer to work onboard an accommodation flotel in the North Sea.
A contract role, the position is expected to last 6 months on a 3 on/ 3 off rotation.
Role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervise the daily operations and maintenance of all machinery including the ballast system, plant and firefighting equipment onboard.
Execution of the planned maintenance, superivison of repairs and advising Chief Engineer on ordereing spares and consumables.
Responsible for the planning and organisation of the Engine Room Crew.
Direct and indirect supervisory authority over the Engine Room Crew
Supervisory authority over all other personnel working within the Engine Department.
Qualifications
Certificate of Competency - Chief Engineer (Limited) or 2nd Engineer (Unlimited)
OPITO Approved Offshore Survival and MIST
UKOOA Medical
Offshore Coxswain (desirable)
Fire Team Member (desirable)
