Dietsmann is recruiting for a new contract in ANGOLA Position: Deck Supervisor/CPLO Location: FPSO Pazflor Rotation : Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off – 12h working by day Contract : Total contract Position on organization chart: Reports to the CSR Type : Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off – 12h working by day Profile Required HSE : • Have a good understanding of Sonadiets HSE rules. • Assists the CSR on field to spread the Group HSE policies and to put the rules in place. • Ensures that the team under his responsibility has well understood group policies and apply them • Writes on a daily basic risks analysis for specific intervention. • Advices, while permit to work redaction, the specific trade measures to establish and ensures tools adequacy. • Ensures that employees under his responsibility have the required habilitation. • Ensures that the COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits) Operations : • Ensure appropriate and good management of helicopter operation • Responsible of the maintenance, monitoring and follow up of manual lifting devices, tools (Slings, chain blocks, etc…) • Assist specialist for the recertification of lifting equipment, • Is the Site Competent lifting Person. In that respect prepare and review all lifting plan and supervise as required complex lifting activities. • Ensures cranes are properly operated and maintained. • Ensures that all material are properly handled on the FSPO and delivered in adequate time. • Monitors the functioning of systems placed under his responsibility, • Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams, and actively participates in this himself, • Manages the team of technicians directly under his responsibility, • Carries out, at the Supervisor request, any intervention within his field of competence. Quality Assurance : • Verifies the quality of his teams’ interventions by frequent on-site checks, • Ensures that the members of his teams have the qualifications and skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if need be, suggests corrective measures. Ensure all lifting gears are properly certified. Purpose : • He is responsible for all deck operations • He guarantees of all lifting activities on Site • He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training by mentoring on site. Qualifications required The holder of this post must have the following qualifications: • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the deck operation including lifting and rigging activities / CPLO Management • A good knowledge a crane operation in a maritime environment • Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams, • Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others, • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site, • Working language: English, Portuguese as an advantage. • Perfectly competent and independent in his field, he must show common sense and organisational ability. Specific professional knowledge: SAP/R3 experience and know-how • Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams, • Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others, • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site, • Working language: English, Portuguese as an advantage. He must have proven ability as a leader of small teams. Perfectly competent and independent in his field, he must show common sense and organisational ability.
