We currently have a requirement for an experienced Chief Officer onboard a new DP3 Flotel which will be operating in Angolan waters. The vessel is equipped with Kongsberg K-POS and telescopic gangway. Previous experience of either would be advantageous.

 

 

As Chief Mate you will support the Master with the day to day running of the Marine department. Additional responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the SDPO and DPO’s

- Monitoring performance of the DP System and Bridge Equipment

- Responsible for the stability of the vessel

- Safely handling the unit on work sites

- Completion of company and client paperwork

- Improving policies and procedures on board

 

 

Required Skills / Experience:

·         DP2 Experience

·         Experience as a Chief Officer

 

Desired Skills / Experience:

·         Previous DSV experience

·         Previous DP3 experience preferred

 

Required Qualifications:

·         Chief Officer Unlimited COC

·         STCW Certification

·         DP Unlimited certificate

·         Valid ENG1
